The Jackfruit Extended Warranty protects your purchase from the most common damages to your furniture.

  • Broken hardware

Jackfruit’s Extended Warranties are applicable to the original buyer at the original delivery address effective from the date of delivery for the period paid for. 


Jackfruit’s Extended Warranties do not cover everyday soiling from normal use, accumulation, multiple stains, unidentified stains, misuse, expected wear, expected natural foam resiliency loss, faulty repair, or damage not attended to properly.


We will repair or replace, at our discretion, any part of the product or the entire product if it is deemed covered by the Jackfruit Extended Warranty. Jackfruit will cover only authorized repair & labor at our discretion.



PRODUCT & MATERIAL SPECIFIC DETAILS, EXCLUSIONS, & CONDITIONS:


Iroko Wood: Iroko Wood’s innate properties make it well-equipped to face the elements, making it one of the most durable choices for outdoor furniture. That said, for ultimate care and long term protection, it’s always recommended to bring in furniture during harsh winters, storms, etc. and to cover it when not in-use. Avoid direct contact with organic materials for extended periods of time to avoid making the product more susceptible to mold and bacteria. We recommend regular cleaning of the wood (at least once every few months) to remove any build up of organic matter. The Jackfruit Extended Warranty excludes any damage to the wood that we deem caused by improper use, care and maintenance of the product.


All Iroko wood finishes will eventually shift to appear more silvery-gray in color over time but the integrity of the frame doesn’t diminish in parallel. The natural evolution of color and texture of finishes is not considered a quality defect and is not covered by this Extended Warranty.


Iroko wood may naturally form cracks as part of its natural weathering process. Only weathering cracks deemed by our team to affect the structural integrity of the product for regular use will be covered by this Extended Warranty. Minor cosmetic cracks are not covered.


Iroko wood maintains naturally occurring oils that may release over time until the furniture has fully weathered. This is an inherent property of all Iroko wood. To prevent fabric stains caused by oil transfers, we recommend wiping down your product with a damp cloth from time to time and allowing it to dry before placing the cushions back on. Oil transfers to cushions and are not covered by this Extended Warranty.


Frame: When modifying the configuration of your product please take care to follow Jackfruit’s instruction manuals. Any frame modifications made by the customer, use of chemical treatments or cleaning techniques that improperly damage the frame invalidates the Jackfruit Extended Warranty.


Cushion & Pillow Covers:


Indoor Fabrics - Our performance fabrics have been thoroughly tested to exceed industry standards. For ultimate long term protection, we recommend prompt spot cleaning when needed, regular vacuuming to remove residue, and avoiding extreme sun environments when possible. Cushion covers are warranted against becoming unusable due to strength loss.


Outdoor Fabrics - Each outdoor fabric type maintains different characteristics but all of Jackfruit’s outdoor fabrics have been engineered for outdoor use. Our performance fabrics have been tested for a UV lightfast rating of up to 2000 hours which is considered fade-proof in the industry. They have also been designed and tested to be water-based liquid resistant and stain resistant per industry standards. Every fabric type is different and will react differently to liquids & stains that remain on the surface for extended periods but they are manufactured to resist water-based liquids and stains as best they can for their specific fabric type.For ultimate longterm color & fabric protection, we recommend using weatherproof covers, prompt spot cleaning when needed, and avoiding contact with liquids, stains, high moisture and extreme sun environments when possible. Cushion covers are warranted against becoming unusable due to strength loss.


Some of our fabrics are machine washable. If a fabric is machine washable, it’ll be noted in the cleaning instructions. It must be Machine Wash - Cold. Use Cold Water and a mild detergent on a low/gentle cycle. Hang dry all covers. Please note that every machine wash adds wear to the fabric so it’s recommended to opt for spot cleaning prior to machine washing whenever possible. To prevent overall soiling, frequent vacuuming to remove dust and grime is recommended. The Jackfruit Extended Warranty excludes any damage to cushion and pillow covers that we deem caused by improper use, care and maintenance of the product. The Jackfruit Extended Warranty does not cover pilling or shrinkage due to excessive or improper machine washing.


Cushions & Pillows: Our seat cushion composition features high resiliency foam designed for long term durability and use. It is normal for all foam products including pillows and cushions to soften over time with regular use, but this should not be mistaken for an actual loss of foam resiliency. As a result of regular use, cushions and pillows will conform to the shape of the user. This softening and flattening process is typical for all foam products and is not considered a damage. Defects and abnormal loss of foam resiliency in pillows & cushions determined to not be caused by normal use are covered by this Extended Warranty. 


This Extended Warranty does not cover any damage due to:


  • Expected wear
  • Lack of appropriate care and maintenance
  • Misuse or improper assembly
  • Use of improper cleaning products, oils or chemicals
  • Mold or mildew
  • Vandalism, pets or rodents
  • Normal compression or flattening of cushions
  • Acts of nature (ice, flooding, wind, etc.)
  • Non-residential uses
  • Exposure to heat or flame
  • Unauthorized or faulty repairs
  • Excessive weight placed on the product
  • Everyday soiling from normal use, accumulation, multiple stains or unidentified stains
  • Damage not attended to properly

If you purchase an Extended Warranty and opt to return your product within our return policy, the price paid for the Extended Warranty will be refunded following the terms of your return unless you have completed an Extended Warranty claim in which case your warranty charge will be deducted from your refund.
